All companies have the same policies and rules regarding making a permit for the purpose of temporarily leaving work.


Polite language and clear information are the main requirements in writing the permit. There are many factors why an employee applies for a work permit such as due to illness or family interests and others

A good permit should state the addressee, the identity of the sender, the body of the letter, then the closing and a thank you note.

 The following are some important points that must be considered when compiling or making a letter of absence from work:

 1. Every employee who prepares a permit to be absent from work must clearly state his identity. This includes the position of the employee concerned. This is so that while the employee is absent from work, the work left behind can be delegated to assistants, subordinates, or other co-workers.

 2. Must explain the exact reason why an employee cannot come to work. This reason must be in accordance with the existing facts, logical, and should not be fabricated.

 3. If the cause of an employee being unable to come to work is due to illness, then the employee concerned should include a doctors notes from the doctor or hospital where the employee is examined or treated.

4. An employee who prepares a leave of absence from work can also state the exact time on how many days the employee wants to get permission. As a consequence, the employee must be ready to re-enter when the permit time has expired.

That's an important point in making a license to a company that could apply to make you become  more professional.
